unplanned HK #2

a super fluffy cat greets us morning
Hello!
such a cute cat!

♥♥♥

we decided to do so called city walks... going downtown for some shops...
but first...
coffee time!

♥♥♥

HK actually serving the same like kopitiam's coffee.
that thick yummy black or with condensed milk type.

but I wasn't going to talk about that 'coz that one is always good.
I'm talking about the more modern style coffee house...

♥♥♥

hello!
hunting the list of recommended coffee shop in Hongkong is ain't hard.
There were lot of places and most of 'em near Sheung Wan.
one on the list is

♥♥♥

we came there before 8am.
it was already 2-3 people queue.
and when we were there... people were queueing more and more.

♥♥♥

they served all day breakfast.
I swear my husband was happy with the food. It just that I took sometimes to take his picture.
He wants to eat.
First time gave him babycinno when he was 1 year something. He didn't remember...
so for him this was his first... and he felt awkward with the foam.

♥♥♥

price range was medium.
a 'lil bit high for us. but worthed.
The coffee was 3 to 4 (scale 1-5)
We ordered a latte, a black, and foods.
all is yumm yumm.
breakfast well spent.

♥♥♥

enjoying another MTR ride

♥♥♥

HK is famous with it's skyscraper.
and also showed me how "full" a building can be.

♥♥♥

everything was occupied. Even in 3 m wide land... they build a skycraper.
not really touching the sky but it was tall... like 20 floors laaaa...
everything on your eye level is signage.
if you tilt your head up there was billboard.
More tilt then it became office/housing.

every level on the building can be a different thing.
Not just like different like " first floor is for A shop... second floor is for B shop...",
but the entrance, the look, and the function can be totally different one and another.
Fascinating.

here I gave some photos of Tsim Tsa Shui area where lots of branded store there.
Most of them use a big billboard but actually some of them didn't occupied that much.

♥♥♥

♥♥♥

you can see what's in front of you but actually more lots of things going on above you.

♥♥♥

Tsim Tsa Shui area are convinient for walking and baby stroller friendly.
Most of the area are flat. No stairs.

♥♥♥

you almost can't find a single building of shopping centre /mall there.
I mean.. in Jakarta you can find Plaza Senayan easily by look at it's building.
In Singapore you can find ION easily...
In HK...
the shopping centre is blended with the surroundings.
it was like inside the buildings. not A single building.
confused?
you only can find the entrance in between buildings
and sometimes you get out from another side of another buildings.
I'm not used to it and indeed lost inside.
I even can't understand the building address.

♥♥♥

Plus, somehow I can't find street food or drink stalls.
seven eleven and others similar shops are hidden... I can't find it easily.
before you enter this boulevard... make sure you have drinks and snacks with you.

tired #1

♥♥♥

it's happening!
somebody is tired.

♥♥♥

tired #2

♥♥♥

you can't simply walked away from SASA store.
SASA is everywhere in HK.

and I did spend too much time in there.
My son started acting up.
My husband was inside paying my stuffs in the cashier...
He was afraid I can't make it go outside the shop.
haha...

♥♥♥

in the afternoon.
after taking a siesta on our hotel.
We went to another Tram Ride on the city.
also bought it on Klook

this tram tour was really nice.
if you didn't spend lots of time in HK I recommend you having this tour.
The route will bring you inside and outside HK downtown.
So.. try it. you won't regret it.

♥♥♥

The tram station is in Sheung Wan. Near the western market.
near our hotel.
so lucky got hotel near everything.
*wink

wearing my #boteyoouter and #boteyopants
♥♥♥

will sell this. soon.

♥♥♥
Tram ride on Central area
♥♥♥
again.
son is hate heights and starts to becoming a safety officer.

"don't let your arms ut the tram side"
"don't hold the camera outside the tram"
"hold me"
"don't drive fast"

♥♥♥

With tram, you are entering central area.
Where you can feel the hustle bustle city there.
Lots of people hanging out..
and it was (maybe) doubled the normal numbers because of SUNDAY!
everybody seems like on the streets.

♥♥♥

tram view #2

♥♥♥

Actually I got lots of city pictures. All is nice. I can't decide which one that I shouldn't post.
Then I decided not to post all.

I know.... annoying...

♥♥♥

Like I said. the new and old were stand side by side in HK.
They preserved well the conservation buildings.
Beautiful.

♥♥♥

tram view #3
an old building preserved well and still used in the middle.

♥♥♥

Tram will stop at Central area...
and you got one free return ticket to Sheung Wan after you finished stroll here.

But this time we chose to use MTR because we walked to nowhere...
we stopped for dinner on a Korean Chicken restaurant
 we did window shopping..
and we suddenly found MTR entrance.
LOL.

♥♥♥

tired #3

whenever you lost... McD is always easy to find and cheap.
But we managed to stay away from McD this time.
Sorry McD... but we still love you.

♥♥♥

me and my husband carrying this little koala around Central.
walk level in central is LVL 100 :)
it was like "you must finished what you've start"
find MTR... or stop taxi.
